HOMEWORK & CLASSWORK
Homework is assigned every day and is due at the beginning of the next class period. During in-class review of the homework, or after receiving the assignment back, students are expected to fix incorrect answers and use all resources available in order to ensure understanding of the material. Classwork may be a warm up, review, or practice of the current objective. Points are earned for completion, accuracy and neatness as follows:
10/10 (check plus) All problems complete; mostly or all accurate; all work clearly shown; neat with header (name, date, class, assignment)
8/10 (check) All problems attempted; multiple errors indicating material may not be mastered; some work shown; may be messy
6/10 (check minus) Not all problems attempted; most answers incorrect or incomplete; little or no work shown; may be messy
5/10 Assignment handed in late.
0/10 Assignment not handed in.
Late work will not be accepted if it is more than 5 school days late.
If a student has a verified absence from class, the assignment(s) must be turned in within five days of the absence in order to receive full credit.
